It is important you make your channels as accessible as possible in order to enable everyone to engage with the services and information you provide. Online experiences can vary hugely, and be impacted by visual conditions, conditions affecting motor
skills, auditory difficulties and cognitive function.
Our Equality Policy outlines our commitment to a culture which ‘maintains a working, learning and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all its staff and students are respected’.
There are also a number of pieces of legislation of which staff working in digital should be aware, as well as best practice guidelines which
we encourage you to follow.
If you have any questions about digital accessibility, please contact the PAD Digital Communications team or the Digital Accessibility team.
