Oxweb 2026 resources

example of new oxweb

In 2025/26 Oxweb will be migrating to a new build based on a more up-to-date platform, with a new design and improved content approach. The following guidance relates to the new version of Oxweb.

User access and training

The PAD web team will provide required training and manage adding users to the backend.

All new users must complete the mandatory Oxweb training and be approved by the section Owner before being granted access. Please see Oxweb user approval process.docx for a list of mandatory training.

NB this training requirement may evolve after site launch; our initial training is aimed at getting people up and running in a timely manner.

Oxweb access is determined by a persona or role which gives a level of access to the CMS and functionality. They are also locked down to a specific section. Please see Personas (Roles) and CMS access.docx for further information.
